Thank-you for taking time out of your busy day and showing interests in my travels, specifically Cameroon, Africa.  Originally, this blog was made for my travels with the Peace Corps and my volunteer work with the agroforestry sector, but I realized my travels and time in Cameroon would not stop after my 30 months of service.  Immediately after my service I co-founded a non-profit helping the youth of Cameroon reach their aspirations and potential.

My love for travel began in high school Spanish Club, when I travelled  to Costa Rica for my first out-of-country experience.  Experiencing different culture, different traditions, and different customs I knew this was the beginning of many journeys to come.

Attending Wabash College, I again was blessed with the opportunity to travel. First, an immersion trip to Ecuador  followed by a summer study in Valencia, Spain my heart was set abroad!

Growing up with a mother who has worked non-profit her whole life, I saw the need and developed a passion to help the less fortunate. Incooperating two things I love, philanthropy and travel, I can say I am truly blessed with the life I live.

I would like to thank everyone who has inspired me and encouraged me in making this dream a reality. Volunteering and helping others is truly one of the most rewarding experience I believe one can attain.  I hope I accurately portray what I see, learn, and experience through my writings and pictures.  Feel free to reply with ideas to better this blog or words of encouragement.

Everyone has their own journey made up about experiences that shape their life whether positive or negative.  These mini-journeys as I will call them make up the greater journey each and everyone of us are on which I call, life!  We have one journey on this beautiful planet and I hope one can gain inspiration, motivation, and have a sense of change for the better through this blog.
